"The most enlightening course I've encountered in 15 years of training courses. To look at ones' self through
the eyes of others is a valuable learning experience,
for life."
About TPC Trainer Development
To innovate and grow in today's competitive business environment, trainers must do more than simply 'present' content. They must have a solid understanding of how adults learn, how to transfer adult learning principles into training programs, how to work with their internal or external clients to determine learning and development needs, and how to use resources effectively and efficiently to assist participants to drive performance to meet organizational goals. In the current corporate environment the trainer's role is very influential. Trainers are charged with the responsibility of educating employees to increase their skill and knowledge base so that organizational goals can be achieved. Trainers must be dedicated and highly motivated individuals who are capable of transforming themselves and others, and who can create a working environment in which people meet their personal and corporate goals.
The TPC approach to adult learning is unique, memorable, and powerful as well as stretching participant boundaries.
TPC working with Decision Makers - Our process
Understanding Client Needs
Before the course we ensure that we understand your business, the goals and exactly the outcomes you need from the training. We ask questions like "what is it you want the participants to do differently at the end of the program?" This is often difficult to articulate, so we help identify the exact change in behavior that is required.
Recommending a solution
We make a series of recommendations to meet your needs. There is always more than one way of getting to an end result!
Every TPC program can be customized to ensure your needs are met - we want our programs to fit!
We guarantee that we will never recommend "training for training sake". If we do not believe that the performance gap can benefit from training, we'll tell you. We back our recommendations with successful results!
Pre-Course Tasks
Every training program includes extensive pre-course work, which sets the stage for a successful program. Pre-course work for participants may include completing a Learning Short-take™, reading, questionnaire, learning activity, research project or other tasks. Pre-Course work is aligned to the learning objectives and kick starts the learning. Most importantly, completing Pre-Course work ensures that in-class training time is maximized.
During the program
Our revolutionary face-to-face training sessions are innovative and engaging. We model what we teach. Our training methodology caters for all learning styles to engage every participant. You certainly won't find endless lecture and slideshows in any TPC course!
If the training program is split over several sessions we provide bridging tasks and action learning projects to be completed between sessions to ensure a continuous learning process.
Post-Course Tasks
Our programs are supported by comprehensive post-course work, which ensures that the participant meets or exceeds the learning objectives.
All participants complete a personal action plan and learning journal helping them to transfer their learning to their workplace.
Many TPC courses include personal telephone coaching to ensure that they are implementing their learning.
Helping Clients to Measure Outcomes
We work with our clients closely after the training to maximize participant application on the job. We also recommend ways for our clients to measure the effectiveness of the training and keep the training messages alive in the organization.
